The new Fuji X-E1 is basically the Fuji X-Pro1 without the optical viewfinder. The Fuji X-E1 has a lower rear screen resolution than the Fuji X-Pro1 but has a very good electronic viewfinder so it really doesn’t matter. As a follow-up to the Zeiss 18mm F4.0 vs. Fujinon 18mm F2.0 lens review, I figured I’d do the same test for the Zeiss 35mm F2.0 vs. the Fujinon 35mm F1.4 lens. I wanted to test the Fujinon 18mm F2.0 lens and see how it would stack up to the Zeiss 18mm F4.0. The Zeiss 18mm F4.0 has a large following and is very poplar with the Rangefinder crowd. For the past week, I’ve been testing many M Mount lenses on the Fuji X-Pro1. I will have these tests in the up coming days, but for the time being, I wanted to give you a sneak peek of some “real world” shots. These images were made with the Fuji X-Pro1 with the Voigtlander 15mm F4.5 Aspherical Lens. The Fuji X-Pro1 has a APS-C sized sensor with a 1.5x Crop Factor.
