Our friends at sonyalpharumors.com posted a review of the NEX pro hot shoe adapter. I’m very confused as to why Sony has to use a proprietary hot shoe mount for their cameras. They’ve always done this on many of their product and early digital camera’s like using memory stick instead of compact flash. It annoys me to no end. Sony why can’t we just have a standard hot shoe?? I understand trying to be different and to sell more products, but do you really make that much money on flashes?? Don’t think so, luckily the Sony NEX-7 is a killer camera, and the hot shoe is not a deal killer for me. Just annoying though!
