Finally, after a long long wait I got a hold of a Sony NEX 7 kit. Here are some pictures of the unboxing.
Some items of note: the packaging is very well done. You even get a micro fiber cloth that has a NEX 7 tag on it. Wow fancy. I wonder how much of this the consumer is paying for in the price of the camera? Also, kit lens comes with a lens shade which is nice. Not a lot of kit lenses come with a lens shade. Its pretty nice and has a bayonet type twist on type.

The packaging is beautiful! Every other Sony item I’ve purchased was just put in bags with yellow tape and shoved into a raw cardboard box that was like 2x too big for it!
