First Impressions: Using the Nikon D800: Digital Photography Review.
Man am I looking forward to seeing for myself the Nikon D800. It’s low light performance is looking really great as compared to the canon 5d mark III and would like to test them head to head in some real world test. Also, being able to use the legacy lenses will make many “old school” photog’s very happy. I love the guys at DPreview. They’re the best in technical reviews for the geek inside all of us. Sometimes I get lost in the charts and comparisons jpegs and the next thing I know 2 hours have past. It’s a guilty pleasure.
You can find the Nikon D800 or the Nikon D800E at Adorama. There has been a long delay for these camera’s and Nikon has decided to give the PRO’s the camera’s first before the general public. Makes sense but kinda annoying.
