Portraits with the Fuji X-Pro1 I’ve been shooting with the Fuji X-Pro1 now for a couple of weeks and I wanted to give my impressions on the camera, the handling, and how it performs when shooting portraits. I used the Fuji X-Pro1 with the Fujinon XF 35mm F1.4 R Lens. My goals were to show how easy it was to get the camera, attach a lens, and with minimal setup, start shooting. Our friends at sonyalpharumors.com posted a review of the NEX pro hot shoe adapter. I’m very confused as to why Sony has to use a proprietary hot shoe mount for their cameras. They’ve always done this on many of their product and early digital camera’s like using memory stick instead of compact flash. It annoys me to no end. Sony why can’t we just have a standard hot shoe?? I understand trying to be different and to sell more products, but do you really make that much money on flashes??
